MAPOLY matriculates 2, 850 students, warns against cultism, others

The Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY) on Thursday admitted 2,850 new students into both full time and part time programmes in all the departments of the institution.

The matriculation which took place  inside the expansive OGD hall in the school  was graced by the University Rector Professor Oladele Itiola and other pivotal personality in the institution.

The Rector of the institution, Prof. Oladele Itiola, while addressing the matriculating students warned them to shun cultism and obey the rules and regulations of the school to avoid being rusticated.

The rector, also said, the institution had already began the process of becoming a degree-awarding institution. Also added that the management would continue to create an enabling environment for quality teaching and learning through conducive lecture spaces, and 24-hour uninterrupted electricity supply.

The matriculating students were for the Ordinary National Diploma, OND, and Higher National Diploma, HND, programmes which will be the lowest in the history of the institute in this 21st century.
